Why is everyone so excited about EV?
We live in times when customers are looking for eco-friendly alternatives. Our cars are no exception to this shift in trend. Across the world, automakers are responding to this change; they are now all set to launch a host of new electric models and electric versions of existing models for the Indian market.
One reason that electric vehicles are now in vogue is thanks to the rising cost of fuel. The same price paid for a full tank not so long ago may now get you a little more than half tank. This has contributed to the demand for EVs with car buyers considering it as a good alternative.
The ever-increasing sales figures of existing EVs in the market allude to this fact. The Tata Nexon, for example, saw a sharp rise in sales in November 2020 – a whopping 75%, crossing the 2500 mark in December 2020. MG Motor too saw a 33% sales growth with the MG ZS EV, in the same month.

Not wanting to be left behind, the Porsche Taycan and the Audi e-tron will also make it to Indian roads towards the end of 2021.
